Yaacov Martin, Meir Dudai, and Shaul Weisband, a dynamic team of three based out of Columbus, Ohio, have designed a brand new way to send and receive gifts. Jifiti offers a way to tell your friends and family what you want, but with the added twist of instant gratification.

Simply scan the item and share it with the world. Friends and family can chip in or purchase the gift directly on Jifiti.com.”
And the stores that have partnered with Martin, Dudai, and Weisband’s creation over the last year are quite notable: GameStop, American Eagle, Sears, Crate & Barrel, Sephora, Athleta, and Sunglass Hut, among others.
Jifiti operates similarly to a gift registry, but you do not need to have a major event to start a list. Weisband puts it simply, “Jifiti is a gifting platform that allows you to spot, share, and redeem gifts while walking through your favorite stores.” He continues, “All people have to do is click on the link you send them, hit buy, and you receive a purchase notification directly to your app.” Claiming a gift is just as easy as sending one. “Open your notification in the app inbox, hit claim gift, and simply show your phone at checkout.” Additionally, with Jifiti’s platform of instant gratification, shipping costs and wait times are all but eliminated from the process. A person on the East coast can buy a gift for their friend who, mere minutes later, redeems it on the West coast.
True, there are already universal gift registries out there and other companies that specialize in one-touch gift giving. But when a company like Wrapp or Gyft, companies that send gift cards, stands next to Jifiti, it becomes clear why the latter is better.
“Gift cards are great, if you want to say to your friend ‘Hey, I have no idea what you want, but here is a piece of plastic,’” jokes Weisband. “We’re all about gifting a real item. The benefit here being that you can avoid sending meaningless gifts, despite how far away you might be.
Martin, Dudai, and Weisband also offer a different angle on caring and giving; anybody that uses Jifiti can donate to the Ronald McDonald House. “Giving of your time to charity is great, but sometimes they just need stuff,” explains Weisband. “Simply pick an item from their wish list, buy it, and send it right away.”
